Welcome to Alpha Xi Delta Beta Psi Chapter's Home Page!

Letter From Our President, Mandy Shevey:

Hello, and welcome to the Alpha Xi Delta Beta Psi Chapter's facebook page. I hope you’ll stay awhile and get to know my lovely sisters. There are so many wonderful parts of our sorority; sisterhood, community outreach, personal growth, fun times, and many laughs that you can see when looking through our page.

Since Carroll University is a smaller campus, it offers a different atmosphere then most universities. You get to know more people and the campus seems all around friendlier. This is what makes our sorority so unique. Being a part of a sorority on a smaller campus means you get to know all of your sisters and other fellow Greeks on a deeper level. It is more than just hello's when passing by each other on our way to class and wearing the same letters. The letters we wear is our initial connection, but the relationships we build and the time we spend together is what makes our bond last forever.

The time we spend together is more than just hanging out on a Friday or Saturday night. We work together to plan events to support Autism Speaks our Philanthropy. We take time to get involved on campus as well as help each other with our homework. We take the time to get to know our new members and help them adjust to college life and realize their potential. What we have to offer is more than just letters on a t-shirt. Here, we help ladies find a place where they belong and where they can gain the tools to make an impact on not only their own lives, but also the lives of others.

Three years ago, I made the decision to join Alpha Xi Delta. When I joined, one of my sisters told me that here she had found her bridesmaids; the ladies who would stand by her side and would be in her life beyond college. These ladies are who she called her sisters. Her sisters, who she knew would be there to share both joy and sorrow and bring into living reality the sisterhood of women. I can say this too. When I joined, I never knew the impact the ladies I would soon call my sisters would have on me. I am the person I am today because of them. I have confidence in myself and my abilities. I am not scared to try new things or reach for the stars because I know they will be there to support me along the way. In our sorority, we have a saying, “being in a sorority is more than four years, it’s for life”. I have found this to be true, and I hope you will too!

 Xi love and TFJ
